Point-of-care tools are research and reference resources designed to answer clinical questions quickly and effectively. They are intended to be:

useful at the point-of-care with the patient
easy to use and contain filtered evidence-based information
often include levels/grades of evidence and citations to the original research studies, systematic reviews or guidelines
