Teaching Collection


Roseman University Library has a Teaching Collection with titles related to general teaching and classroom methodology, as well as some subject specific Photo: teaching collection bookshelves at the Henderson campusteaching resources.  Some example topics in the collection include:

  • learning theory
  • digital pedagogy
  • assessment
  • curriculum development
  • plagiarism and copyright
  • team-based learning
  • active learning
  • student engagement

All suggested books for purchase will be reviewed by the relevant subject librarian and ERC

Course Reserves


Faculty can request materials be placed in the library's reserves collection if the item is required or suggested reading for a block.

  • Library-owned copies and faculty-provided items can be added to the reserves collection.
  • Faculty-provided items may be restricted to in-library use only.
  • A reserve item can be checked out by students until the end of the following business day.
  • Provide a two-week lead time to arrange course reserves so items are ready for your block.

Roseman University Library has created videos, interactive tutorials and resource guides that you can use in your blocks.

Meet with a Librarian

  • for assistance inserting library resource links in Canvas or presentation slides
  • to request in-person or virtual class instruction sessions on library resources, search strategies, resource evaluation, citation styles
  • for collaboration on development of research related activities/assignments
  • to customize an online guide or tutorial for your block
