What are point-of-care tools?

Point-of-care tools are reference resources intended to be useful at the point-of-care with the patient.
They are clinical decision support tools for efficient retrieval of synthesized, evidence-based information.
They often include levels of evidence, rating scales or grade recommendations as well as citations back to the original research studies, systematic reviews, or guidelines.

Mobile Apps (subscription from Roseman)

Through our subscriptions, Roseman University Library is able to offer students free access to the mobile apps for these resources.

A clinical database that includes reference information about drugs, toxicology, diseases, acute care, and alternative medicine. Resources within Micromedex include Trissel’s IV Compatibility, Red Book Online, Care Notes, Neofax, dosage calculators, and more.
