Pharmacy Program Guide

A clinical database that includes reference information about drugs, toxicology, diseases, acute care, and alternative medicine.

1. Log into Micromedex at the link above using your laptop, while on campus.
2. Click on "Mobile Application Access" in the top right corner.
3. Click on "Micromedex Native Mobile Apps."
4. Follow the directions on that page for each separate app (make sure you download the free edition of "IBM Micromedex Drug Ref")

NOTE: Micromedex breaks the database into multiple smaller apps for specific functions. IBM Micromedex Drug Ref is the main drug monographs, but there are separate apps for IV, Interactions, and NeoFax.

1. Log into Clinical Pharmacology using the link above or another Roseman provided link.
2. Click "Register" (upper right) or log in with your existing personal Clinical Pharmacology or ClinicalKey username and password.
3. Download the mobile app from the Apple or Google Play app store.
4. Login using the username and password you just created/tested.
5. This will trigger the final download of the app contents.

If you have trouble logging into the app, check that you are logged out of Clinical Pharmacology on your laptop/desktop. Access Clinical Pharmacology and check whether your name appears in the upper-right corner. If it does, click your name or the three stacked lines, and select 'Log Out'.

Login to UpToDate using your Roseman network credentials (choose Institutional or OpenAthens sign in options from the mobile app or website). You will be prompted to register for an account the first time.

Medical reference books, clinical overviews, medical journals, drug information, and practice guidelines.

1. While on campus, log in and click "Register" in the top right corner.
2. Using your Roseman email address, fill in the required information on the registration page.
3. Click Register when finished. ClinicalKey will display an activation message and sends a confirmation email.
4. In the confirmation email, click the link to officially start your remote access.
5. Download the ClinicalKey app from the Apple or Google Play app store.
6. Log in on the app using the registration information you just created.

This will grant 180 days of remote access. Prior to the end of the 180 days, log into your ClinicalKey personal account while on a Roseman campus This will extend access another 180 days. Should your remote access expire, follow the above steps to re-activate your access.
