Point-of-care tools are medical quick reference tools and drug information databases designed to answer clinical questions quickly and effectively.

A clinical database that includes reference information about drugs, toxicology, diseases, acute care, and alternative medicine.
1. Visit your mobile device's app store and search for Micromedex.
2. Download the app directly to your device.
3. Open the app. The activation code will generate on the mobile device.
4. Tap "ACTIVATE NOW."
5. Beneath the login information, select "OpenAthens Login."
6. Search for "Roseman University of Health Sciences Library."
7. Log in as you normally would for Roseman University resources, including multi-factor authentication.
8. Select "Activate Device."
A drug information & medication management resource. Includes drug monographs, patient education tools, clinical calculators, reports, and more.
1. Log into Clinical Pharmacology using the link above or another Roseman provided link.
2. Click "Register" (upper right) or log in with your existing personal Clinical Pharmacology or ClinicalKey username and password.
3. Download the mobile app from the Apple or Google Play app store.
4. Login using the username and password you just created/tested.
5. This will trigger the final download of the app contents.
If you have trouble logging into the app, check that you are logged out of Clinical Pharmacology on your laptop/desktop. Access Clinical Pharmacology and check whether your name appears in the upper-right corner. If it does, click your name or the three stacked lines, and select 'Log Out'.
These point-of-care tools are provided by Roseman University Library but without free access to the mobile app.
